Our Mission
Everyone deserves the highest-quality hair products. With little to no regulations in the beauty industry, it’s all too common for products to contain a host of unhealthy and even toxic ingredients that do more harm than good. Our mission is to use only the highest-quality ingredients without harmful chemicals, additives or toxins to promote a healthy scalp and a healthy lifestyle.

Our founder, Sharon Clohesy
Founder and President of ROgHA Hair System, Sharon Clohesy (I.A.T., IoT), became a Certified Trichologist after working years behind the chair in her salon while traveling coast to coast as a licensed educator for a major hair loss company. Sharon identified an opportunity to create a gentle and effective scalp and hair-cleansing system, omitting the many harmful toxins and additives that are commonly found in drugstore and salon products. Sharon has made it her life’s work to deliver a safer, effective haircare experience.

Gentle hair and scalp care during chemotherapy and beyond.
Sharon developed an oncology program, Hair and Scalp Wellness During Chemotherapy and Radiation, to deliver valuable information to oncology patients while serving as a resource throughout all stages of treatment. Her extensive knowledge combined with her personal experience is her driving force, knowing that she can make a difference by helping others with the knowledge she has to share.
Tested, Certified, and Guaranteed
All ROgHA products go through thorough third-party testing and Claims Substantiation to guarantee the products meet both our highest standards and yours. Because the FDA does not regulate haircare products the way we may think, we believe it's our responsibility to ensure you and yours are safe from harmful chemicals and that we’ve completed the testing to prove it.
Why does my scalp need rebalancing?
Rebalancing is necessary to maintain the proper hydration and moisture balance of the scalp and hair. Don't confuse your shampoo with your styling products.
Is ROgHA® safe for color-treated hair?
Absolutely! ROgHA® was developed by a certified trichologist and hair color specialist that understands what your hair goes through when chemically processing and what your hair and scalp will benefit from in between appointments. Effective cleansing and re-balancing of the hair and scalp between color visits is essential.
Is ROgHA® safe for children?
Avoiding exposure to ingredients that can lead to skin sensitivities is always beneficial at any age. Children under the age of 12 would benefit from using the daily cleanse shampoo and re-balance treatment. Over the age of 12, the pure cleanse shampoo can be introduced as part of their daily shampoo regimen. Keep in mind that ROgHA® is not tear-free, and eye contact should always be avoided.
Can I use ROgHA® during chemotherapy treatment?
Yes, ROgHA® can be used by men, women, and children during all stages of their treatment. Our products do not contain synthetic fragrances, synthetic colors, or any common skin-sensitizing ingredients found in cosmetics.
Does ROgHA® help with scaly and/or flaky scalp?
Yes! Often, scalp dermatitis (scalp flaking) can be triggered by ingredients such as synthetic color and synthetic fragrance/parfum, including Methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) and Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) (MI). ROgHA® left out those ingredients! Remember, regular shampooing is important to maintain a healthy scalp environment. All ROgHA® products were developed to be gentle and effective for daily use.
Can I use ROgHA® to treat oily and itchy scalp?
Yes, you can! Overproduction or excessive build-up of sebum (oil) on the scalp can often lead to a condition known as seborrheic dermatitis. It's important to shampoo regularly to maintain a healthy scalp environment, and our products were developed for use as part of your daily regimen. Remember, shampooing DOES NOT cause the scalp to secrete more oil; the sebaceous glands that produce sebum on the scalp are hormone-regulated.
Does ROgHA® grow hair?
ROgHA® does not contain any hair-growth drug, and we do not claim to grow hair. However, some clients have experienced increased hair density simply by giving the scalp the proper environment and avoiding ingredients that can lead to scalp inflammation.
Where to find ROgHA®
ROgHA® is available for purchase through our website and in select salons.
Why is pH important?
In shampoos, pH matters because the scalp's natural pH is slightly acidic (around 4.5–5.5), which helps maintain a healthy microbiome while helping to prevent irritation. Using a shampoo with a high pH can strip natural oils, leading to dryness, frizz, and scalp issues like dandruff or sensitivity. All ROgHA® products are in the appropriate pH range. It matters!
Why do shampoo ingredients matter?
Ingredients such as parabens and phthalates have been flagged as a health concern, interfering with the body's hormonal systems, potentially affecting fertility, metabolism, and overall hormonal health. Carcinogenic chemicals, even in small doses, may accumulate over time and increase the risk of certain cancers, making it essential to choose shampoos with safer, non-toxic ingredients for both short-term and long-term health benefits.
Are ROgHA® Hair System products gluten-free?
Yes. Remember, a food intolerance by ingesting gluten and a contact sensitivity to gluten in a cosmetic can be very different. Products used on your lips, such as lipstick and lip gloss as well as dental products would tend to raise a higher risk of gluten ingestion. A contact sensitivity to gluten can be discovered by a physician performing a skin test to identify a gluten contact sensitivity.
